Three Bloomberg School students talk about why they love living in Baltimore - from discovering new restaurants to planning family activities.

Living in a friendly city buzzing with culture and excitement is a priority for many students.

Baltimore features many opportunities for enrichment and fun outside the walls of the Bloomberg School.

For instance, a quick trip on one of several public transportation options brings you to Camden Yards, home of the Orioles — Baltimore's Major League Baseball team. Afterward, you can sample Maryland's famous blue crab spiced with Old Bay. Or take a walk through the many shops along Baltimore's Inner Harbor.

For top-notch entertainment, you can see a show at the Hippodrome. Or a movie at the historic Charles Theater. If the visual arts interest you, the Baltimore Museum of Art offers many special exhibits.

Environmentalists will gravitate toward the National Aquarium in Baltimore. Or perhaps take a stroll through Druid Hill Park where many local families spend their weekends.

A short car ride south brings you to the nation's capital, Washington DC, which boasts many interesting sites. Not to mention being the hub of national policy making.

Be sure to explore Baltimore — "The Charm City" — and take advantage of all it has to offer. Contact the student affairs staff for more information.
